|
Trio Burnsteeg was formed in early 2009, with the purpose of exploring the repertoire of trio music for flute, soprano and piano. Louise, Emma and Robin have since developed a number of programmes which provide audiences with an opportunity to hear some of this beautiful and much overlooked trio music, while also performing duos from the flute-piano and voice-piano cannons.
Soprano Emma Versteeg, flautist Louise Burnet and pianist Robin Versteeg are developing a reputation for stylish, innovative and virtuosic recitals incorporating repertoire from the baroque to the contemporary.
"Trio Burnsteeg produced a programme which gave renewed inspiration of the delights music can bring. Artists of quality". Gordon Mabbot, Beith Arts Guild
